Trianglen with the Soup Terrine

The square Trianglen connect five major streets on Østerbro and host bus stops for several lines. Trianglen can be recognised by its unusual building called the soup terrine by the locals.

Do

Parken is the national football (soccer) arena and home for FC Copenhagen. Also hosts big concerts. Parken has a gym, bars, bowling, and pool.

There are many small stores on Østerbrogade and Ndr. Frihavnsgade.

Eat

Ice-cream. There are three ice-cream parlors around Trianglen. The biggest ice-creams cones are sold just north of Østerbro at Lydolphs Isbar, Strandvejen 167, Hellerup. Expect a lineup on summer days.

Hotel Rye Ryesgade 115, tel:35265210. Small hotel near Trianglen

Mid range

Østerport Hotel Oslo Plads 5, tel: 70124646 is located at Østerport S-station right at the tracks (it is soundproofed). A good place for travelling around. The three major S-train lines pass Østerport, there is direct trains to the airport, north to Helsinore, and east to Odense.
